Dear Mom

Dear Mom, I cherish you,

With all of my heart.

You are the most incredible woman

And I value our relationship so much.

You are the one who gave birth to me,

Who took care of me when I was a child.

You always covered me with your love,

With all of your grace and your care.

You taught me to love others

And to share what God has given me.

You showed me how to do so

Because I always felt so loved.

You are the epitome of integrity,

Of faithfulness and of goodness.

You have the utmost respect from me,

And I love you, Mom, dearly.

Dear Mom, I adore you,

With all of my heart.

You are the most amazing woman

And I adore you so very much.

You are the one who stood me up

When I fell again and again.

And still today, when I’m overwhelmed,

You speak clarity into my life.

It wouldn’t be possible to count the things,

The stupid things I’ve done without thinking.

But you, Mom, like a good woman,

Have always continued to love me.

I know it hasn’t been so easy

To raise such a curious child.

But this I know without a doubt:
I adore you with all of my joy.

Dear Mom, I love you,

You are the most wonderful woman,

And I offer you my humble song.

The Lord has blessed you greatly,

And He’s done so with good reason.

You follow after Him with all of your soul,

With every word and every action.

You are full of wisdom,

And you look for Him in every situation.

You love Him with all of your being,

With all of your strength and passion.

It’s for this reason I praise the Lord,

Because you are such an inspiration.

Without you, Mom, I wouldn’t be who I am…
