Bon Voyage Couleur

Colorful boats embellish the shore

While palm trees sway in the breeze,

Trunks yearn to wander the seas

Where fears are felt no more.

Beautiful boats bedeck the bay

Enjoying a needed repose,

Three more days of sand in toes

Before the anchor is weigh.

Radiant boats adorn the strand

To await their captain’s call,

Then, as winter grays the fall,

Color abandons the sand.

Vibrant boats depart the coast

Returning to where they belong,

Beholders bid adieu in song

To those they will miss the most.
