Ever Dwells My Soul

I am no dweller of this earth,
For my soul transcends its confines.
Nor am I limited by birth
From being reborn, at times.
My soul overwhelms this world,
Unfazed by incessant gloom.
I am free like the flag unfurled,
As the bellflower at bloom.
Though evil exists temporarily,
My joy will endure forevermore.
Darkness will retreat, warily,
While on eagle wings I soar.
I am no dweller of this place;
My soul belongs to God, His Grace.
